The woman brings home Miles' habit of playing with his back to the audience. This piece depicts Miles when he was playing with the Monk; straight ahead with - hard hitting musicians, but the Monk is not in the piece. Va Va Va Miles was a master of Space / silence / hesitation / pause. He had always been at the Vanguard of the Jazz movement.
